Chelf is operated by Stone Nimbus ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for personal data collected through the Chelf service.

2. Categories of personal data we collect

Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
Content you save: recipe URLs, screenshots, notes, favorites.
Usage and telemetry: pages visited, features used, device identifiers, IP address, browser type.
Support communications: messages you send to us.

3. Why we use your data

To create and maintain your account (contract).
To provide the Chelf service and store your recipes (contract).
To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
To improve and debug the product (legitimate interests).
To respond to your support requests (contract / legitimate interests).
To send service-related emails (contract). Marketing emails only with your consent.

4. Who we share data with

Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics, and email infrastructure providers acting on our instructions.
Paddle.com Market Limited: our Merchant of Record for sale of Chelf subscriptions, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
Professional advisers: legal, accounting and similar advisers under confidentiality.
Authorities: where we are required by law to disclose data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside your country of residence. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to safeguard those transfers.

6. Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. EEA / UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. We respond to verified requests within one month.
